Principal's Update

Last week was all about connections and we had a spectacular time. We spent the week on a modified bell schedule so that we could introduce students to school expectations, clubs, and activities. We also issued new students their technology and had two days of pictures. If your student missed picture day there will be another opporunity on 9/7 and 9/8. The week ended with a school-wide assembly on the football field. Amidst the physical changes of our campus, the vibe is positive and the spirit is strong.

Welcome to week two. This week students are picking up textbooks and settling into classroom routines. Please make sure you a) review handouts from teachers, b) you know how to access infinite campus for attendance and grades, and c) that your contact information is up to date.

An exciting event happening on campus this Friday is a Fox 5 news event. Mount Miguel will have the opportunity to show off spirit in a broadcasted Fox 5 Pep Rally segment so please make sure your student is decked out in red and black and watch Channel 5 at 8:00am on 8/25!

Yours in Matador Spirit

Dr. Hedrick
