Principal's Update
Thank you to all those who made it to Back to School Night! I hope you found the information from us useful. The college representatives and Matador staff were impressed with the turn out-thank you! Moving forward, please make sure you are visiting the campus portal to check grades, attendance and discipline. As we move into October we are ramping up our interventions for students who may need additional support. Please call the counseling office if you need more information on after school and Saturday academic tutoring.
Theatre Production Students Learn the Art of Lighting
The students in the Theatre Production class have been working on telling stories through a series of tableaux. Students have been learning how to use lighting to enhance the emotions in their stories.
They have also had the opportunity to go on a field trip to the Lyceum Theater to see the San Diego Rep's production of Roy and Ray.
Athletics Update
Tennis had another great win with a decisive victory over Santana. Way to go!

They have started digging for the foundations. We are done with demo and the construction begins!
